About Me

Hi there! My name is Callum and I am a photographer. I use both digital cameras and traditional film cameras. While I claim to have no favourites, I much prefer using B&W film in my old Nikon 35mm SLR. I have a unit in Fire Station Creative which I use for processing and printing.
I’ve been practicing photography for five years and in recent years I’ve done many portraiture shoots and also commercial shoots for local and national companies; such as Sheds salon in Dunfermline, Trinity Mirror Plc and Taytech Environmental.

I studied photography in High School and then went on to do a HND at Carnegie College – now Fife College. In college I met Sheila – my darkroom buddy – who taught me most of what I know about darkroom processes and printing. I now work full time at the University of Edinburgh in printing services and enjoy photography in my spare time.

WHAT I’M UP TO

5th & 6th May – Pop Up Fire Station Creatives shop in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre in Dunfermline as part of the Food and Craft weekend.
